Peter Stavisky

Founder/CEO

Peter’s professional background includes high level success in corporate America as well as his passion for entrepreneurial endeavors. Spending the first part of his career in telecommunications, Pete found himself in the battle ground of deregulation of the telco wars in the early 1990’s.Promoted seven times in six years, he was quickly escalated to the youngest company Director managing the New England Region at MCI Telecommunications.  He went on to become President of one of the fastest growing direct response marketing companies ever, Talk America, managing a staff of over 750 people and $100 million in annual revenues.  Peter founded Barrington Media Group in 2003 and has grown it into the leading performance based radio media company in the nation by focusing intensely on a results driven strategy.

Tim Weil

EVP/Principal

Tim has spent the last 20+ years engaged in a diverse range of media and marketing focused positions in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds.  Tim began his career working for legendary adman George Lois, cutting his advertising teeth on accounts like ABC Sports.

He went on to a couple of different stints in radio, first in national business development for the Interep Radio Group and later as an executive for CBS Radio’s convergence marketing arm The Altitude Group

Tim spent a good chunk of his career in professional sports serving as VP Sales & Marketing for the Continental Basketball Association and then as a part of the business start up team for the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes, heading up corporate sales and marketing. Tim has been involved in a series of entrepreneurial ventures over the past decade including starting a direct response product development company in the natural health space. Tim joined Peter at Barrington Media five years ago to help grow and expand the business.

Heather Ryan

Director of Finance

Heather Ryan was employee number one at Barrington Media Group. In the early years Heather wore many hats, doing everything from client management to financial analysis and book keeping. Ultimately Heather focused in on keeping the Barrington purse strings in order, and became the Director of Finance in 2008.  Prior to her joining BMG, Heather was an entrepreneur as co-owner of a private child care center. She is very proud of her time at Barrington and the role she has played in making the company what it is today.

Kevin Casini

Director of Media Planning and Analysis

Recently named Director of Media Planning and Analysis, Kevin has been an integral part of Barrington Media Group since he began his professional career here 4 years ago.  He was originally hired as a BMG analyst, utilizing his analytical skills and education in finance to maintain and expand the success of many key BMG accounts. In his four years at Barrington, Kevin has been promoted three times and spent the majority of his time managing BMG’s team of analysts and full list of ongoing campaigns as Manager of Client Services.

Kevin sets the bar high for himself and his team, and his contributions to the business are a significant factor in the ongoing success and growth of BMG.

Brett Charest

Director of Media Buying

Brett has spent the last 8+ years planning, buying and negotiating results driven radio campaigns for a wide range of clients from blue chip CPG companies to specialized direct response product marketers. While his primary background is in radio planning/buying, his business skill set is balanced out by successful work experience in TV, digital marketing, outdoor and print.

 Brett started his career as the Marketing/Promotions Director of a 4 station cluster at Clear Channel radio. He moved to the agency side of the business in 2004 and has been focused ever since on developing, implementing and executing effective client promotional and media campaigns. Brett’s approach is defined by his tough but fair negotiation style and knack for building and maintaining long term relationships.

Joining BMG in October of 2011, Brett has focused his considerable talents on growing and shaping the BMG media team into the most qualified, efficient and successful direct response radio professionals in the business.
